ANTHONY A. GROSS, D.C.
Dr. Anthony Gross’s Experience and Education:
Dr. Gross began his career as a neurobehavioral therapist in 1995 in New Jersey, where he consulted with patients concerning various neurological disorders. Upon graduation from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) with high honors in 1999, he relocated to Arizona and was in private practice in metro Phoenix for more than 12 years; where his clinics served as the “official chiropractor”s of the Phoenix Coyotes NHL team.
Dr. Gross also served in various professional state and national leadership positions, including President of the Arizona Association of Chiropractic. This is due to his belief that medical providers should be involved in the legislative process as stewards for patients to help improve access to a wider choice of quality health care options. His goal to work with patients in a multidisciplinary setting was accomplished when he joined the team at the Scottsdale Laser Spine Institute in 2012. During his time there, the Laser Spine Institute became the largest provider of outpatient minimally invasive spine surgery nationwide with surgery centers in multiple states. As the Consult Physician, he worked directly with patients to aid in determining if they were a candidate for minimally invasive surgery or if other treatment options were more appropriate. His role included performing consultations for patients seeking pain relief and considering spine surgery options.
In 2014, he was instrumental in the development of a first of its kind post-surgical spine rehabilitation certificate program in partnership with the American Chiropractic Association. This was geared to educate chiropractors and other healthcare providers in the multidisciplinary and evidence-based delivery of perioperative care for patients with debilitating conditions of the spine.
Dr. Gross has also received additional training and credentials in MRI of the spine through the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Gross joined the team at Minimally Invasive Spine and Arizona Pain Treatment Centers in 2019. He is excited to will use his skills and knowledge to provide concierge care to patients that are considering spine surgery and offer a VIP experience from the first visit through the entire recovery process.
